How to Get Revenge Peacefully

A big part of society encourages a 'get even' attitude; revenge. Revenge typically accommodating anger, pain, fear, resentment and so on, why not instead, listen to what the other part of society believes. They believe in this highly underestimated quote, 'Peace creates Peace.' With peace you can still get revenge, but it looks a lot different. What you're doing is in fact, taking back your power. The happiness bubble analogy may open your eyes to a new way of thinking when it comes to revenge. An understanding you may come to is, others do not make you mad. You make you mad. It is merely a choice.

For your further understanding of this happiness bubble, it is an attitude, like a positive force that surrounds you. Only good things enter this bubble and it becomes who you are. Bad attitudes, circumstances, words or actions 'could' penetrate your bubble, only if you let them.

Here's a scenario: A stranger is walking toward you on the street. Upon walking by they offer you a gift, the gift is a big smile. You accept this nice gift and smile back. You allowed this strangers positive energy to penetrate your bubble. Another stranger approaches and this person has a gift to offer as well. You fumble with your phone attempting to answer a call as you walk along. Before passing by, the stranger looks at your phone, then at you and rolls his eyes. The look you were given was not a nice gift. You do not accept this gift and it does not penetrate your bubble. The effect of the eye rolling bounces off of you. You happily continue your phone conversation with your good friend, chuckling at his dry humor.

You can get revenge and stay at peace with the circumstance you are in. Peace is the revenge. It is the unexpected in the eyes of the evil doer and eventually they back down and give up. Stop giving away your power, and give them what they don't want instead. Nothing.

Life, events and circumstances all add up in life. That is not to say all are bad. Many things in life are great, worth celebrating. Although, it's not always enough to have great things happen in our life to find peace. At least, using the bubble idea as an alternative to typical actions of revenge, it will bring an inner peace. So don't let anyone come along and pop it!
